Have you ever had a big audacious goal? How did it work out?
Goals are amazing at keeping us focused, energized and motivated. Turning your goals into reality can be tricky.
The key is to dream BIG and think small.

Our dreams may be a castle in the sky, and sometimes they feel that way too. We make them a reality one small step at a time. And while we build, we must appreciate the small details and take the time throughout journey to celebrate these details.
The details are what make the journey worth taking -- let them take shape and reform the dream to truly make it a reality worth seeking. Find grace in the process.
Use your dream to motivate you. Acknowledge and accept that:
Motivation naturally wavers
Planning for behaviors that require a daily decision is hard, and likely won't work (Example: 'I'm going to the gym today sometime')
Plan for automaticity, think about ways to build habits to move you a little at a time towards your big goal. (Example: 'After I put away my toothbrush, I will do two pushups.')
Some days will be harder than others
Keep moving
Do more when it feels good
As you gain confidence, you may want to dream bigger. Is your dream losing 40lbs? What if your dream was to climb Mt. Everest?
It won't happen today, or even tomorrow, but it should be something that lights you up.
You'll KNOW it's the right dream for you if thinking about it makes you smile.
Learn to let go of the outcomes, the forward movement feels good by itself.
Celebrate the small changes each day.
And keep dreaming!
